Key Responsibilities of an Information Security Analyst
In this role, you will:

Skills Needed for an Information Security Analyst

4–5 years of security analysis or a BS in cybersecurity/IT.

Experience in incident response and forensic investigations.

Knowledge of NIST CSF, Windows/Linux/UNIX systems, and cloud security.

Hands-on experience with threat detection, vulnerability testing, and endpoint security.

Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Certifications such as DoD 8570 Baseline or equivalent are preferred.
