We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Information Security Analyst to join our fully remote cybersecurity team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in monitoring, analyzing, and improving our organization’s security posture. You’ll help identify vulnerabilities, respond to threats, and ensure compliance with leading cybersecurity standards — all while collaborating with a team passionate about protecting digital environments.
Key Responsibilities

Continuously monitor security tools and systems for potential threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalies.

Investigate and respond to security alerts, incidents, and breaches in a timely manner.

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and risk analyses across systems, networks, and applications.

Maintain, update, and enforce organizational security policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOC 2, and GDPR.

Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and business teams to design and maintain secure systems and workflows.

Support security awareness initiatives, including employee training and phishing simulations.

Document security incidents, findings, and mitigation strategies.

Recommend enhancements to strengthen the organization’s overall security defenses.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).

2–7+ years of professional experience in information security or cybersecurity operations.

Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, LogRhythm, Sentinel), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools.

Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7.

Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and general network security concepts.

Knowledge of encryption, IAM, and access control models.

Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, self-directed environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GSEC.

Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and automation tools.
