Job Summary:

The analyst role is responsible for assessing and troubleshooting incoming tickets with a strong focus on ensuring a timely assessment on incoming work, escalation to the wider team and completion of entry level client work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with potential/existing client relationships to help progress the RFI process
  • Assist with the administration of internal and external audits
  • Lead on the vetting of new and existing vendors
  • Assist in the administration and ongoing maintenance of the
  • Information Security Risk Register
  • Lead in the response to urgent client security questionnaires
  • Assist the team with the administration of internal Vulnerability
  • Assessments and Penetration Tests
  • Help manage the administration of key security tasks within the team
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of physical security
  • Prepare key metric reports for the Security and Compliance Team
  • Lead in the review and ongoing maintenance of security operating procedures.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years’ experience
  • Knowledge of security management principles.
  • Ability to communicate, both internally and externally
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good standard of both written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload
  • Must be a self-starter, who can both work independently and as part of a team
  • Desire to progress and develop within the role
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish
  • Keen attention to detail

Desired Qualifications & Competencies

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience
  • CompTIA, SSCP, Security+, ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals.
