Your Role as an Information Technology Technician
As an Information Technology Technician, you’ll report to the Senior ICT Technician and ensure the smooth operation of IT services across the Trust. You’ll manage helpdesk tickets, resolve technical issues, maintain hardware and software, and support end-users with day-to-day IT needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to staff and students across the Trust.

Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

Process helpdesk requests and escalate when required.

Track and manage support calls and service delivery.

Liaise with suppliers and document recurring issues.

Recommend IT system improvements and assist with asset management.

Contribute to safeguarding by following all data security and privacy protocols.
Information Technology Technician Requirements
To thrive in this role as an Information Technology Technician, you should have:

A Level 3 IT qualification and/or minimum 2 years of IT support experience.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Office applications, and IT hardware.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Commitment to high standards of confidentiality, data protection, and cyber security.
