Engineering & Administration
- Design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and services.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Keep all environments up to date and consistent to enhance reliability and improve continuous integration and deployment efforts.
- Leverage cutting-edge cloud technologies and services to drive innovation and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for applications and systems.
- Provide off-hours support as needed to manage updates and resolve technical issues.
Maintenance & Projects
- Monitor cloud services, systems, and networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Apply security patches and updates to protect cloud infrastructure from vulnerabilities.
- Respond to system failures and security events, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide off-hours support for high-severity incidents.
- Maintain technical documentation for solutions and standard operating procedures to optimize service delivery.
- Recommend and implement DevOps configuration improvements to enhance system efficiency.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer with at least one public cloud provider: AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, utilizing a variety of applicable and transferrable technologies.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
