Pharmacist – Per Diem (Sutter Roseville Medical Center)
Position Overview
Join Sutter Health and be part of a dedicated team delivering patient-centered pharmaceutical care that ensures safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy. This role involves clinical services, medication education, preparation, and distribution, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations to maintain patient safety and privacy.
Key Responsibilities

Provide medication management, education, and clinical support to optimize patient care.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement personalized treatment plans.

Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, accreditation standards, and safety protocols.

Utilize EPIC and pharmaceutical technologies to maintain accurate records.
Qualifications

Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.

Valid Pharmacist License (PHARMD or PHARMR) in California.

ACLS certification (if responding to emergency codes).

1+ year of relevant pharmacy experience preferred.
Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of medical terminology, pharmaceutical laws, and regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems (EPIC).

Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
