Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medicare Billing Representative to work claims after submission to Medicare. The ideal candidate has strong follow-through, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a representative of Digitech, you will ensure claims are processed correctly and paid timely, resolving issues that could delay reimbursements.
Key Responsibilities

Review and work claims pending too long with Medicare, including those denied, on hold, or incorrectly paid.

Identify causes for claims delays and take corrective action to resolve issues.

Handle denials by determining if Medicare adjudicated claims correctly and perform follow-up actions, including appeals when necessary.

Provide additional information to Medicare to ensure accurate claim processing.

Manage correspondence with Medicare via mail, email, or phone.

Assist with refunds and other duties as assigned by management.

Maintain compliance with Medicare rules, regulations, and timely filing limits.
Required Skills & Experience

Strong computer skills, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.

Experience working in environments with performance metrics, call monitoring, or quality scoring is a plus.

Ability to handle high-volume workloads while meeting tight deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional phone etiquette, and ability to present solutions effectively.
