Job Description
As an Account Manager, you will be the primary post-sale point of contact for assigned clients, working to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships. Your role is essential in ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support for both current and future orders. By collaborating with internal sales and management teams, you’ll help identify opportunities for growth, prepare proposals and sales collateral, and contribute to the overall client experience. You’ll also play a key role in developing tailored solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the main liaison between the company and assigned clients after the sale to ensure smooth communication and relationship growth.

Respond to client inquiries regarding active and upcoming orders, resolving any production issues that may arise.

Keep the sales team updated on client status, needs, and project developments.

Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records and account histories.

Generate and submit reports outlining progress, challenges, and sales opportunities within assigned territories.

Analyze data to uncover opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.

Support the execution of client products and services and assist in implementing new initiatives.

Collaborate directly with clients to understand their goals and help craft effective solutions.

Create summary reports highlighting client needs and opportunities for account expansion.

Develop sales presentations and collateral for upselling and securing new business.

Assist in preparing RFPs and RFQs for both new and existing accounts.

Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and product updates, and share relevant insights with the sales team.

Participate in special projects or client initiatives as assigned by sales leadership.
Qualifications

Proven problem-solving ability with the skill to adapt past experiences to new challenges.

Strong organizational skills with consistent, timely, and accurate execution of deliverables.

Familiarity with standard processes; able to apply these to both routine and unique tasks with minimal guidance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and/or macOS, and the ability to learn industry-specific software quickly.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Solid grasp of general business principles and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years of related professional experience.
Additional Information

Salary Range: $73,500 – $120,800 annually (may vary by location and experience).

Compensation: May include bonus, commission, or incentive pay depending on role.
