Position Overview
As a Systems Engineer Intern, you will play a key role in selecting electronic technologies for new products and product families. You’ll act as a bridge between design and compliance engineering teams while gathering requirements from customers and sales teams. This role combines elements of systems engineering, product line engineering, and technology development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify system components for performance, durability, and military-grade ruggedization

  • Assist with systems engineering, benchmark testing, and requirements validation

  • Maintain documentation for Product Offering Technical Solutions

  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to complete projects

  • Support Project Managers with technical guidance for successful project delivery

  • Lead Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR)

  • Provide expertise to Manufacturing and senior engineering teams during operations

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Awareness of technology trends in computing, networking, displays, and system integration

  • Knowledge of server development and technology integration to maximize customer utility

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively across all organizational levels

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person)

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field

Working Conditions

  • Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to manufacturing and testing environments

  • May involve lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods during product testing
