Role Overview

As an Internal Staff Auditor, you will contribute to auditing activities in the highly regulated payments and card industry. This role includes exposure to operational, compliance, financial, and cybersecurity audits. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong critical thinking, analytical ability, and attention to detail while adhering to Internal Audit Methodology and Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing of controls within Fiserv departments to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Document audit findings, prepare reports, and present results to management.

  • Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and compliance.

  • Validate corrective actions and conduct follow-up audits.

  • Collaborate with teams across the business to promote compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Stay current on regulations, industry standards, and audit best practices.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services or public accounting (internal audit, risk, compliance, accounting, or operations).

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Knowledge of internal audit, finance, controls, or regulatory compliance.

  • Familiarity with frameworks such as FASB, COSO, FFIEC, NIST, or PCI.

Preferred:

  • CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, or related certification (or desire to pursue).

  • Experience with SAS, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or other analytics tools.

  • Ability to analyze large datasets.
