Job Title: International Tax Accountant
Location: Westchester County, NY (Hybrid – 3 days in-office)
Job Description:
JCW is partnered with a leading firm seeking an experienced International Tax Accountant to join their team in Westchester County, NY. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing international tax compliance, reporting, and planning initiatives for a growing organization. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in international tax and a desire to contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review international tax filings, including Forms 5471, 5472, 1118, and foreign disclosures.
- Assist with the calculation and reporting of GILTI, BEAT, and FDII under U.S. international tax provisions.
- Research and analyze international tax laws and their impact on the organization.
- Support the tax team with global income tax provision calculations in compliance with ASC 740.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or advanced degree (e.g., MST) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in international tax compliance, reporting, and planning, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department.
- Proficiency in U.S. international tax concepts, including Subpart F, GILTI, BEAT, FDII, and foreign tax credits.
- Strong knowledge of transfer pricing regulations and global tax provisions.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
