About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting order fulfillment, and optimizing day-to-day warehouse processes. You will play a critical role in ensuring efficient supply chain operations, accurate reporting, and high-quality customer service.

This is a hands-on position that involves both administrative and physical responsibilities, including lifting items up to 75 lbs occasionally.


Key Responsibilities

Inventory Control

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock.

  • Reconcile discrepancies through regular cycle counts and audits.

  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions including receipts, adjustments, and shipments.

Receiving & Storage

  • Oversee incoming deliveries and returns, ensuring accurate counts and quality checks.

  • Properly label, store, and organize inventory to ensure accessibility and safety.

Order Fulfillment

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of outbound shipments.

Shipping & Receiving

  • Verify contents of shipments and ensure proper documentation.

  • Assist in loading/unloading deliveries and organizing stock in designated areas.

Reporting

  • Generate regular reports on stock levels, movements, and inventory performance.

  • Assist in analyzing inventory trends and providing insights to management.

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies in current inventory processes.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to streamline warehouse operations.


Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

  • Ability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs.

  • Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems.

  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
