Job Overview – Investment Analyst:

Join our client’s investment team in White Plains, NY, as an Investment Analyst. This role involves sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, and managing portfolios while collaborating with top-tier professionals to drive strategic growth.

Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000/year + bonus

Location: White Plains, NY

Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

Responsibilities as the Investment Analyst:

  • Opportunity Sourcing: Proactively generate and evaluate new investment ideas, conduct due diligence, and present findings to the investment committee.
  • Market Research: Analyze market trends and public filings to support equity ideas and develop financial models.
  • Portfolio Management: Monitor existing portfolio performance, prepare quarterly updates, and oversee capital call processes.
  • Investment Analysis: Assess company fundamentals, risks, and financial performance to build detailed investment memorandums.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with investment partners and external stakeholders to maintain accurate cash flow analyses and drive investment decisions.
  • Reporting: Update weekly assessments and provide daily portfolio tracking reports to inform strategic actions.

Qualifications for the Investment Analyst:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering required.
  • Experience: 1-4 years of experience in Investment Analysis or Research.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Excel (including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and pivot tables); Bloomberg experience preferred.
  • Attributes: Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent presentation capabilities.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with financial markets, industry research, and investment screening methods.
