Position Summary
The Investment Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Investment Committee through financial analysis, data interpretation, and performance reporting. The position involves managing investment data, conducting due diligence on investment managers, preparing analytical content for committee meetings, and ensuring adherence to the company’s Investment Policy Statement. The analyst also oversees fund performance, diversification strategies, and compliance requirements across assigned lines of business.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze monthly fund performance reports and quarterly scorecards.

Conduct due diligence reviews of investment managers and portfolio offerings.

Track fund performance, management changes, and strategy updates.

Perform benchmarking and style analysis to optimize portfolio diversification.

Monitor industry fee levels and ensure competitive pricing.

Guarantee compliance with the Investment Policy Statement.

Develop and improve departmental processes and analytical tools.

Maintain confidentiality and data security for all client and company information.

Support the Investment Committee with presentations, follow-ups, and documentation.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; MSF or MBA preferred.

Progress toward CFA, CIMA, or CFP is advantageous.

5+ years of experience in financial services or investment management.

Series 65/66 license required or must be obtained within six months.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word at an advanced level.

Strong understanding of portfolio performance analysis and reporting.

Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
