Job Description
We’re looking for an organised and proactive IT Administrator to join our growing healthcare IT team. In this essential role, you’ll act as the first line of contact on our new Service Desk, supporting users and managing daily IT operations. As an IT Administrator, you’ll handle technical support requests, oversee system health, coordinate IT equipment, and perform critical administrative tasks such as user account management and system audits. This is a fixed-term, 12-month contract within a supportive and fast-paced NHS healthcare environment.

IT Administrator Key Responsibilities
First Line IT Support:

Serve as the initial point of contact for user queries via phone, email, and face-to-face

Log incidents and troubleshoot issues through the incident management system
Incident Management:

Monitor, record, and resolve incidents promptly

Escalate complex issues when required
User Account Management:

Create, update, and remove user accounts

Manage secure password resets and system permissions
IT Equipment Coordination:

Organise IT equipment for new starters and collect devices from departing staff
System Health Monitoring & IT Audits:

Regularly monitor system performance and carry out IT audits

Maintain accurate documentation and compliance reports
System Administration:

Administer multiple software applications and business systems, ensuring optimal operation
