Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Analyst – Retail Systems to join our Information Systems team at Booker. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering secure, efficient, and customer-focused retail systems that enhance our service delivery and profitability. As an IT Analyst – Retail Systems, you will support internal and external stakeholders by managing EPOS systems, the Booker Retail Gateway, and the Scoot rapid delivery platform. This position requires participation in out-of-hours support for service incidents and planned IT activities.

Key Responsibilities of the IT Analyst – Retail Systems

  • System Administration: Oversee the administration of the Scoot platform and the Retail Gateway, ensuring seamless operations.

  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor system KPIs to maintain optimal performance levels.

  • Project Support: Contribute to the delivery of projects aligned with the IS Retail Strategy.

  • Testing: Conduct thorough testing of Gateway processes, EPOS integrations, and the Scoot platform to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills for IT Analyst – Retail Systems

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in technical project management and IT service desk operations.

  • Customer Service: Strong background in delivering consistent results and excellent customer service.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with EPOS systems and an understanding of wholesale and convenience retail business processes are advantageous.
