Key Responsibilities of the IT Internal Audit Analyst Job
As part of Elastic’s IT Audit team, your responsibilities will include:

Executing IT SOX compliance, operational audits, and ad-hoc projects.

Leading and documenting walkthroughs of systems and internal controls.

Performing testing of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Application Controls (ITACs).

Recommending improvements and automation opportunities through data analytics.

Collaborating with control owners to enhance consistency and scalability of IT processes.

Identifying internal control gaps, tracking remediation progress, and reporting findings.

Coordinating with external auditors for efficient SOX program execution.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this IT Internal Audit Analyst job, you should have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, or Accounting.

0–2+ years of experience in IT Internal Audit, SOX compliance, or related internships.

Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience with operational or risk-based IT audits.

Preferred certifications: CISA, CPA, CISSP, CCNA, PMP, or CompTIA Security+.
