IT & AV Support Analyst Role Overview
We’re seeking a proactive IT & AV Support Analyst to join our team in Birmingham. This full-time, office-based position is ideal for someone who excels in providing both IT and AV support. As an IT & AV Support Analyst, you will be responsible for troubleshooting IT issues, setting up AV equipment, and ensuring smooth operations for both internal users and external clients. You will deliver technical support in both face-to-face and remote formats, ensuring top-notch service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities for the IT & AV Support Analyst
In your role as an IT & AV Support Analyst, you will:

Provide in-person and remote IT and AV support across the organization

Set up and troubleshoot meeting room equipment and video conferencing tools

Log, resolve, and manage incidents and service requests effectively

Deliver VIP service for meetings and events, ensuring smooth technical operations

Maintain strong relationships with internal colleagues and external vendors

Contribute to knowledge-sharing and document solutions for future reference

Assist with IT equipment moves, service improvements, and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications for IT & AV Support Analyst
To succeed as an IT & AV Support Analyst, you’ll need:

Strong experience with AV/video conferencing systems and IT troubleshooting

Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure

Clear communication skills and a problem-solving attitude

Commercial IT support experience, with knowledge of MS Office and remote support tools

Familiarity with mobile technologies (Windows, iOS, Android)
Desirable: ITIL knowledge, experience in Windows, iOS, Android platforms
