About the Job
Recursion is seeking a proactive IT Engineering Intern to support the development of enhanced IT workflows by mining data, building repositories, and accelerating processes with custom-built Bots and AI agents. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with IT engineers to develop tools that drive adaptive access decisions, predictive workflows, and automation initiatives. The Impact You’ll Make
As an IT and InfoSec Engineering Intern at Recursion, you will contribute to projects such as:

Building Identity and Access Repositories: Collaborate with IT engineers to create repositories for identity, access roles, and logs that facilitate adaptive access decisions.

Connecting Data for Predictive Access Decisions: Partner with IT and InfoSec teams to predict access needs and design automated workflows for granting access.

Data Mining for IT Service Management: Analyze IT Service Management data to enable issue resolution through virtual service agents.

Accelerating IT Workflows: Work across teams to build the infrastructure needed for automated, scalable IT processes.
The Team You’ll Join
You’ll become part of the IT team that powers the systems behind Recursion’s entire organization. During your internship, you’ll work on real-world projects involving enterprise software, REST APIs, and third-party integrations—balancing feedback, trade-offs, and innovation to find effective solutions.
The Experience You’ll Need

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics, Data Science, or a related field

Solid understanding of software engineering, security principles, network protocols, and operating systems

Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
