Position Summary
We’re seeking a skilled and proactive IT Manager to lead our technology operations from our head office. This critical role ensures the continued efficiency and security of our IT infrastructure, directly supporting logistics, fleet tracking, and warehousing systems. The role will require occasional travel to other depots across the UK.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all IT systems, infrastructure, and technical support functions

Maintain and enhance fleet tracking and logistics software systems

Oversee cybersecurity and ensure data protection across the company

Collaborate with third-party IT providers for upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Provide internal user support and IT training across departments

Proactively assess and recommend technology improvements
Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in IT management, ideally within transport or logistics

Strong understanding of network infrastructure and computer systems

Practical knowledge of cloud-based platforms, data security, and cybersecurity protocols

Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills

Strategic mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
