Role Overview
We are seeking an IT Network Engineer to join our global IT team in San Jose, CA, or Kirkland, WA, supporting worldwide operations across the US, EU, and APAC. This role requires expertise in networking, security technologies, and IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and monitor enterprise networking and security infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, WiFi, etc.).
- Ensure IT infrastructure is stable, scalable, and compliant with security regulations.
- Perform WAN/SD-WAN/LAN traffic analysis and proactively resolve network issues.
- Research and implement new networking and security technologies to optimize performance.
- Design and maintain core network services (DHCP, DNS, 802.1X).
- Support capacity planning by analyzing network and compute resource usage.
- Troubleshoot issues and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 5–8 years of experience in enterprise IT.
- Expertise in Arista, Aruba, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, SilverPeak SD-WAN, Juniper MIST WiFi.
- Strong knowledge of BGP/OSPF routing protocols and SNMP network monitoring.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, and OCI cloud networking.
- Proficiency in PKI, 802.1X, IAM, and network security assessment tools.
- Excellent communication skills (Mandarin a plus).
Compensation & Benefits
- California Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000
- Washington Salary Range: $100,000 – $130,000
