About the Job:
As a Network Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in planning, building, and maintaining our global network infrastructure, including production data centers and campus networks. This encompasses designing and implementing secure connectivity to leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring comprehensive network monitoring with proactive alerts, and supporting critical, simultaneous projects. You’ll create essential documentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting 24/7 operations, and proactively address network gaps and risks. Key responsibilities also include performing necessary network device upgrades and patches.
Job Qualifications:
Must-Haves:
- Minimum 5 years in global enterprise networking infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of IP networking, L2/L3 protocols (STP, OSPF, BGP), LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, QoS, VLAN, ACL, NAC, and cabling.
- Significant experience with multi-vendor switching/routing (HPE/Aruba, Cisco).
Responsibilities:
- 6-8 years in planning and designing customer-facing production data centers and campus networks.
- Expertise in IP networking, L2/L3 protocols (STP, OSPF, BGP), LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, QoS, VLAN, ACL, NAC.
- Strong WAN background with at least one full SD-WAN implementation.
- Proficiency in building hybrid cloud solutions (a plus).
- Expertise in VPN encryption, modern switching, and firewalls (policy and capacity management).
- Strongly prefer expert knowledge of Cisco, Arista, HP, and Aruba equipment.
- Experience with load balancers (Citrix, F5 is a plus).
- Extensive experience with multi-vendor switching/routing technologies.
- Expertise in routing protocols and traffic engineering.
- Experience with low-level network testing and troubleshooting (Wireshark, NetFlow).
- Experience in security policy implementation and maintaining network integrity.
- Proven ability to enhance network monitoring to prevent outages.
- Demonstrated success in managing critical infrastructure projects.
- Automation experience (a plus).
