About the Role:
Misericordia’s IT Department is seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee and manage process and system changes across the organization. This role ensures smooth project execution, from initial concept to implementation and ongoing support. The PM will collaborate with internal teams and vendors, track progress, mitigate risks, and document processes to keep stakeholders informed. While technology is a key focus, some projects may be business-driven with minimal IT involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring alignment with Misericordia’s mission and goals.
  • Communicate effectively across departments, vendors, and end users.
  • Track and document project milestones, risks, issues, and action items.
  • Evaluate technology solutions and recommend best-fit options for long-term success.
  • Oversee system implementation and ensure efficient adoption by staff.
  • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting post-implementation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and act as a mandated reporter per Illinois state laws.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in project management and business analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of technology, software, and implementation strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to new processes.
  • Experience in process improvement and system integration is a plus.

Job Details:

  • In-person role, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM
  • Salary: $65,000 per year
