Hanger, Inc. — the global leader in orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) care — is seeking a Part-Time Remote IT Systems Support Specialist to join its growing team. This entry-level position provides first-contact technical support for Hanger’s production technology environment. You’ll deliver white-glove customer service, troubleshoot issues, manage system access, and support daily IT operations. Candidates must be available to work 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM CT.
Key Responsibilities

Provide first-level support for technical issues via phone, chat, or ticketing systems.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems.

Manage user access, asset tracking, and procurement requests.

Document incidents, maintain knowledge base articles, and track performance metrics.

Coordinate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

Support special business projects, including occasional travel when needed.

Deliver excellent customer service while adhering to service level agreements.

Assist with training and onboarding new team members.

Maintain compliance with IT and security standards.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with at least 1 year of customer service or tech-related experience.

Prior IT Help Desk or Service Desk experience is preferred, but not required.

Ability to work Monday–Friday within 7:00 AM–7:30 PM CT support hours.

Willingness to provide after-hours support or travel for projects.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $18.00–$21.00/hour + up to 5% annual bonus (based on performance).
