IT Help Desk Support Specialist Responsibilities
Provide Expert Technical Assistance
As an IT Help Desk Support Specialist, you will deliver white-glove support via inbound calls, chat, and self-service submissions. You will troubleshoot technology issues using remote desktop tools, prioritize incidents, and ensure accurate documentation.
Manage Access, Assets & Documentation
This role includes performing access administration, managing IT assets, and supporting procurement tasks. You will also create and maintain knowledge articles and support documentation to help your team and end-users.
Qualifications & Requirements
Core Requirements

Four-year degree, or high school diploma with 1+ year of customer service experience

Availability to work a 5×8 rotating schedule and on-call for urgent issues

Ability to travel out-of-state occasionally for special projects

Preferred: prior experience on an IT Service Desk / Help Desk

Strong customer service, communication, and follow-up skills
