In this role, you will:
- Support and enhance the organization’s Information Security, Risk, and Compliance programs, such as Vulnerability Management.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource, ensuring understanding and adherence to security, risk, and compliance principles.
- Develop and analyze reports to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements to our security posture.
- Evaluate technology solutions, offering guidance to meet both business and security needs.
- Participate in risk assessments, conduct analysis, and collaborate on treatment plans to achieve acceptable risk levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including third parties, on security, risk, and compliance initiatives.
- Partner with IT teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Participate in incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and implement lessons learned.
- Monitor advancements in privacy and security technologies.
- Assist in creating and maintaining IT security and compliance documentation.
- Review and investigate security-related cases, alerts, and events.
- Monitor and oversee IT security tools and platforms.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years relevant experience OR Associate’s degree with 4+ years relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in information security.
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
- Experience in risk management.
- Experience managing change control processes.
- SANS GSEC certification.
