Job Description
Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled IT Service Desk Technician to provide first and second-line IT support across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT Service Desk Technician support for Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) management.
- Ensure service management of desktop, laptop, and mobile devices across multiple locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues, escalating complex cases when necessary.
- Maintain high service levels by adhering to pre-defined SLA’s and ITIL standards.
- Assist with Active Directory, Windows Server (2016/2019), Windows 10/11, and networking tasks.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Professional approach when dealing with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the IT team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and participate in a 24-hour support rota after two months of service.
Shift Patterns & Benefits
- Standard shifts: 8am–4pm, 9am–5pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am, 6am–2pm, across a 7-day workweek.
- Additional enhanced pay rates for working unsocial hours.
