Job Summary
This is a Direct Hire Solicitation for a senior-level IT Specialist (APPSW/CUSTSPT), NH-2210-04 role located in Falls Church, Virginia. The position serves as a technical authority in systems software/hardware projects, leading teams in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions. Advanced in-hire and advanced leave accrual may be authorized.
Duties

Lead task forces and project teams on advanced software/hardware efforts

Act as a technical authority on integrated systems of computer programs and equipment

Apply technologies and management principles to adapt IT methods to mission needs
-
Oversee equipment installation, relocation, testing, and acceptance processes

Evaluate vendor- or employee-developed software for compatibility and performance
Requirements & Conditions of Employment

Certifications Required (within 9–24 months of hire, Government-funded):

Cyber Security IAM Level III (CISSP, CISM, or GSLC)

MuleSoft Certification

OpenText Content Server Developer Certification

Additional OpenText Administrator/Developer certs

Microsoft SQL Server (Azure Database Admin Associate)

Microsoft IIS
-
Amazon Web Services certification

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Position is part of the DoD Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Workforce; Program Management certification required within 60 months

Qualifications

One year of specialized experience at the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) level, including:

Designing/architecting enterprise IT solutions (e.g., OpenText platform)

Leading and mentoring teams on technical projects

Demonstrating IT competencies: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving

Education cannot substitute for specialized experience
