Join Our Team as an IT Support Engineer
Are you a skilled IT Support Engineer seeking a dynamic, full-time role in Barrow-In-Furness? Our digital transformation consultancy is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to manage and enhance our conference room technologies. This position offers a competitive salary of £28,000–£32,000, with an additional £3,000 relocation package if required. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless AV operations and providing top-tier technical support.
Key Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer

Primary Technical Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to conference rooms.

Equipment Audits: Conduct regular assessments of conference room equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance.

Incident Management: Address incidents and execute “Install, Move, Add, Change” (IMAC) tasks within established service level agreements (SLAs).

Custom Requests & Projects: Fulfill bespoke user requests, manage project tasks, and provide accurate quotations, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Documentation: Maintain and update user-friendly documentation for conference room technologies and associated processes.
Essential Skills & Experience for the IT Support Engineer Role

Security Clearance: Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) is mandatory.

On-Site Commitment: Willingness to work full-time on-site, five days a week.

AV Hardware Expertise: Proficient in installing, configuring, and maintaining AV hardware, including projectors, displays, video conferencing systems, and audio equipment.

Technical Support Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing medium-level technical fixes.

Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively liaise with stakeholders and team members.
