Job Overview
Serve Robotics is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain critical IT infrastructure. This role combines advanced troubleshooting, enterprise systems architecture, and strategic projects to ensure secure, reliable systems that scale with our growing operations.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure (NAS, networks, cloud platforms, and security systems).

Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.

Manage identity management systems, SSO solutions, and directory services.

Develop no-code automation solutions to reduce manual processes.

Lead major IT projects such as migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and security rollouts.

Design and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Partner with security teams on cybersecurity measures, compliance, and threat detection.

Monitor system performance and conduct proactive capacity planning.

Mentor junior IT staff on complex systems implementations.

Support IT needs for both corporate and autonomous robot operations.

Document configurations, architecture, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in IT Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps.

Expert troubleshooting across Windows, Linux, and macOS.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and network security.

Experience with enterprise identity management, SSO, and directory services.

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications (CISSP, MCSE, Okta Certified, Apple ACMT, etc.).

Experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and automation tools.

Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Background in high-availability system design and scalable architecture.

Interest or experience in robotics, IoT, or edge computing.

Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, NIST 63-B).
