Role Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ivanti ITSM Specialist to join our dynamic team. This individual will be a key contributor to the successful implementation, optimization, and support of Ivanti ITSM tools and data migration processes.
Key Responsibilities

Implement, configure, and manage Ivanti ITSM solutions to enhance IT service delivery and workflow automation

Lead and support data migration efforts from legacy ITAM systems to Ivanti platforms

Design and maintain CMDB structures, CI relationships, and service catalog configurations

Identify, analyze, and resolve data anomalies, discrepancies, and quality issues
-
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges
-
Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer to internal and external teams
-
Maintain detailed documentation for processes, schema designs, mapping logic, and system workflows

Provide ongoing support and system optimization recommendations
Required Qualifications & Experience

Proven hands-on experience with Ivanti ITSM, including:
-
Data migration and ETL processes
-
Data mapping and schema design
-
Data cleansing, standardization, and validation
-
Experience with Ivanti Neurons for Discovery/Configuration
-

Strong knowledge of:
-
SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
-
CMDB best practices and configuration management
-
ITIL v4 processes: Asset Management, Configuration Management, Change Enablement

Public sector IT environments (especially state government projects)
-

Familiarity with:
-
CA Service Desk Manager (SDM)
-
Asset Portfolio Management (APM)
-
Service catalog workflows and procurement processes
-

Excellent communication and documentation skills
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
-
Experience building and managing auditable, scalable datasets for ITSM/ITAM

Prior experience mentoring or conducting knowledge transfer sessions

Understanding of automated discovery tools and integration with CMDB platforms

Ability to collaborate closely with public sector stakeholders and state teams
