Ivanti ITSM

Role Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ivanti ITSM Specialist to join our dynamic team. This individual will be a key contributor to the successful implementation, optimization, and support of Ivanti ITSM tools and data migration processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and manage Ivanti ITSM solutions to enhance IT service delivery and workflow automation

• Lead and support data migration efforts from legacy ITAM systems to Ivanti platforms

• Design and maintain CMDB structures, CI relationships, and service catalog configurations

• Identify, analyze, and resolve data anomalies, discrepancies, and quality issues

• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges

• Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer to internal and external teams

• Maintain detailed documentation for processes, schema designs, mapping logic, and system workflows

• Provide ongoing support and system optimization recommendations

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience with Ivanti ITSM, including:

  • Data migration and ETL processes

  • Data mapping and schema design

  • Data cleansing, standardization, and validation

  • Experience with Ivanti Neurons for Discovery/Configuration

• Strong knowledge of:

  • SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle)

  • CMDB best practices and configuration management

  • ITIL v4 processes: Asset Management, Configuration Management, Change Enablement

  • Public sector IT environments (especially state government projects)

• Familiarity with:

  • CA Service Desk Manager (SDM)

  • Asset Portfolio Management (APM)

  • Service catalog workflows and procurement processes

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience building and managing auditable, scalable datasets for ITSM/ITAM

• Prior experience mentoring or conducting knowledge transfer sessions

• Understanding of automated discovery tools and integration with CMDB platforms

• Ability to collaborate closely with public sector stakeholders and state teams
