Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused CDL Class A Commercial Driver to join our delivery and warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in food and beverage delivery, driver training, and warehouse logistics, with a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service. This role involves operating commercial vehicles, training new drivers, performing accurate deliveries, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct local and regional deliveries of food and beverage products, ensuring on-time and accurate drop-offs to customers.

Train and mentor new drivers on delivery procedures, safety protocols, and company standards.

Unload trucks safely using pallet jacks, two-wheelers, or by hand, handling 20–80+ lbs of products per shift.

Verify delivery accuracy, obtain customer signatures, and handle payments when applicable.

Assist with route planning, post-accident ride-alongs, and identifying areas for driver retraining and process improvement.

Collaborate with warehouse teams and supervisors to maintain safety, inventory accuracy, and efficient loading/unloading operations.

Maintain commercial vehicles according to company standards, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current on safety procedures, operational standards, and customer service best practices.

Perform additional duties as required to support warehouse, delivery, and logistics operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.

Minimum six months of commercial driving experience (three months in food/beverage delivery preferred).

Ability to consistently lift, push, and pull 20–80+ lbs.

Knowledge of FMCSA Clearinghouse regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Safe driving record with demonstrated adherence to traffic and company regulations.

Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles preferred.
