Jr. DevOps Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in deploying, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments.

• Manage virtual environments using technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM.

• Develop, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software releases.

• Support software deployments, configuration management, and version control across various environments, including development, staging, and production.

• Utilize automation tools to streamline cloud operations, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.

• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using tools like Azure Monitor, Logic Monitor, Datadog, Prometheus, and ELK.

• Assist with patch management and regular maintenance of servers, applications, network configurations, and security settings.

• Collaborate with Development and QA teams to troubleshoot deployment and environment-related issues.

• Support Information Security audits, including logging, compliance checks, and addressing vulnerabilities.

• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and documenting incidents and their resolutions.

• Contribute to the implementation of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

• 2-4 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure role.

• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms (certifications are a plus).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.

• Proficiency in tools like Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker.

• Understanding of software deployment processes, scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell), and version control (e.g., Git).

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools and best practices for information security in cloud environments.
