About the Job
Location: Coquille, OR (On-site only – remote work is not available)
Starting Hourly Wage: $23.00 – $29.00 USD
First Community Credit Union is a growing financial institution looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Web Developer. In this role, you’ll support the development and maintenance of websites and web-based systems, with a primary focus on building and integrating APIs.
What You’ll Do:

Develop and maintain back-end solutions with a focus on API development and connectivity

Gain hands-on experience with technologies such as PHP, MySQL, Laravel/Lumen, version control (Git), and web services (SOAP/REST)

Learn and grow within a supportive, on-the-job training environment

Occasionally work with front-end technologies, although this is not the main focus of the position
What We’re Looking For:

Strong PC and data entry skills

Excellent attention to detail

Foundational understanding of programming languages

GitHub/code samples required to demonstrate capability
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree in a related field and/or two years of relevant experience

Familiarity with Git, web services, and PHP frameworks is a plus

Front-end experience is helpful but not essential
