Key Account Pricing Analyst
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Key Account Pricing Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will take a leading position in conducting comprehensive customer pricing analysis for country-specific requests related to special rates. This is a day-to-day role involving significant interaction with pricing data and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Pricing Analysis: Lead the process of analyzing customer pricing for country requests, specifically focusing on special rates. This involves in-depth data review and strategic thinking to determine optimal pricing structures.
- Non-Standard Rate Card Creation: Design and create Non-Standard Rate Cards (Custom RATEs) within the new Global Rating Engine (GRE) to accommodate special rates requested by clients.
- Rate Card Management & Review: Support the crucial task of collecting and/or meticulously reviewing existing or proposed customer rate cards across various countries to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- System Onboarding Support: Play a vital role in assisting with the onboarding of countries onto the new rating system, including performing comprehensive tariff cleansing for customer data to ensure a smooth transition.
Qualifications:
Must-Haves:
- Experience: 1-2+ years of experience in an analytical role. This includes relevant internships and educational project experience.
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a quantitative or business-related field such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel, including strong capabilities with pivot tables, complex formulas, and VLOOKUP functions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex pricing information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications (Plusses):
- Pricing and/or Costing Experience: Any prior experience specifically within pricing or costing roles.
- Bilingual Capability: Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese would be a significant advantage.
- Excel Automation: Ability to edit or create macros in Excel to streamline data processing and analysis.
- Workflow Experience: Familiarity with workflow management systems or processes.
