We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Maintenance & Small Works Division as a Junior Administrative Engineer. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in project coordination, compliance, and operations within an M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) contracting environment.

You’ll gain invaluable exposure to the engineering and construction industry while receiving full training—and the opportunity for ONC/HNC sponsorship in Building Services Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support & Coordination

  • Provide daily admin support to the Maintenance & Small Works team

  • Coordinate engineer diaries and track job progress

  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, site visits, and maintenance schedules

  • Process purchase orders, payment certificates, and subcontractor documentation

  • Prepare and manage project folders, SFG20 logbooks, and document templates

  • Support invoicing and liaise with finance teams

Communication & Liaison

  • Serve as a link between office staff and field engineers

  • Handle calls and correspondence from clients, tenants, and engineers

  • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and subcontractors to maintain strong relationships

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Contracts, Finance, and HSEQ

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English (A-Levels preferred)

  • Previous office/admin experience is advantageous but not essential

  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not required

  • Willingness to pursue ONC/HNC in Building Services Engineering (fully supported)
