Responsibilities:

  • Understand and support all aspects of kitchen operations within the hotel.

  • Ensure the production of consistent, high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations in a timely manner.

  • Assist in training department staff and take on leadership responsibilities in the Sous Chef’s absence.

  • Demonstrate culinary education and skills, with an emphasis on cost control, communication, and leadership.

  • Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations with a focus on exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of all kitchen operations.

  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in basic computer applications.

  • A genuine desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to deliver consistent results while maintaining high standards.

  • Culinary education and/or relevant on-the-job training and experience in hotel culinary operations.

  • Geographic and schedule flexibility is preferred.
