Kubernetes Platform Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust technical solutions for a foundational Kubernetes platform.

• Develop custom Kubernetes controllers using Golang, ensuring scalable and maintainable code.

• Build and manage GitOps workflows utilizing tools like ArgoCD, Crossplane, and other CNCF technologies.

• Champion best practices in platform security, observability, availability, and reliability.

• Contribute to internal documentation, standards development, training, and team-wide best practices.

• Communicate, present, and advocate for technical strategies across cross-functional engineering teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Minimum of 2 years managing production-grade Kubernetes environments.

• Hands-on experience with distributed systems hosted on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Solid knowledge of networking protocols and architecture.

• Strong proficiency in Golang and experience developing Kubernetes-native solutions.

• Expertise in GitOps methodologies and related tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Crossplane).

• Ability to design cloud-agnostic and abstracted infrastructure solutions.

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and governance in global enterprise environments.

• Strong team collaboration and communication skills in a matrixed organizational structure.

Preferred Certifications:

• Kubernetes certifications (e.g., CKA, CKAD) – Preferred

• Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) – A plus
