Netflix, one of the world’s leading entertainment services with over 300 million paid memberships in 190+ countries, is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join the Content Machine Learning Signals & Ops team within Data Science and Engineering.
This team serves as an incubator for innovation, focusing on large-scale MLOps and systems that accelerate the development and deployment of machine learning models across Netflix’s content ecosystem. The mission is to empower data scientists and engineers by simplifying operational complexities—so they can focus on creating science-driven impact that shapes the future of global entertainment.
What You’ll Do

Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deploy, operationalize, and maintain large-scale ML models in production.

Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of deployed systems.

Establish and maintain best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

Work with structured and unstructured data — including video, audio, and images.

Design and implement automated workflows for data versioning, backfilling, and testing.

Build reusable tools and frameworks to accelerate ML-driven insights.

Partner with platform teams to design systems for model tracking, auditing, and change management.

Advocate for excellence in both software engineering and machine learning practices.

Ensure model transparency, robustness, and compliance across diverse business domains.
About You

Strong expertise in MLOps — model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

Hands-on experience with unstructured data such as video, audio, and images.

Deep understanding of machine learning workflows, including feature engineering and model lifecycle management.

Proficient in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks like PyTorch.

Solid foundation in software engineering principles.

Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Strong communication skills — able to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $170K – $720K annually (based on experience and market alignment)
