About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Laborer to join our team. This role is essential in assisting skilled trades such as Carpenters, Operators, and Masons with daily construction tasks. As part of our Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture, safety is embedded into everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion AP’s IIF culture, prioritizing workplace safety and care for all team members

• Prep construction sites by clearing hazards, digging, leveling gravel, and moving materials

• Load/unload supplies and operate material handling equipment (bobcat, forklift, pallet jack, partner saw)

• Assist in formwork installation, concrete pouring, mixing mortar, and grouting

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding safely

• Support skilled trades in construction activities, both interior and exterior

• Perform routine cleaning, debris removal, and temporary protections on job sites

• Inspect work-in-progress to ensure compliance with AP’s quality standards

• Uphold the highest level of workmanship and professionalism

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training (preferred)

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently and over 100 lbs occasionally

• Physical agility: standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching throughout the day

• Experience with hand tools (chippers, grinders, measuring tools)

• Willingness to travel up to 70+ miles to job sites

• Ability to work in various weather conditions

• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to follow directions

• Self-motivated, proactive problem-solver, and team-oriented
