Program Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead LAN/WAN Engineer to join our team. In this leadership role, you’ll guide and provide technical direction on LAN/WAN networking solutions. You’ll work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure efficient, secure, and innovative network architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Guidance: Act as a technical leader in LAN/WAN networking, providing expert solutions to complex challenges.

  • Networking Expertise: Offer direction on existing and new services, aligning with project goals and operational needs.

  • Architecture & Design: Provide expert insights into network systems design, implementation, and integration.

  • Team Leadership: Manage small teams of engineers and cyber specialists to ensure project success.

  • Cutting-Edge Technologies: Stay ahead of emerging trends and implement new networking technologies.

  • Collaboration: Work with engineers and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions that meet business requirements.

  • Network Tools: Use tools like Cisco, Juniper, F5, and others to optimize network performance.

  • Routing Expertise: Implement key protocols such as BGP, OSPF, GRE, VPNs, and Spine and Leaf architecture.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience. Alternatively, 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Technical Skills: Extensive experience with Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, and network management tools.

  • Certifications: IAT II, CCNP, or CCIE (or equivalent).

  • Security Clearance: Active TS clearance or the ability to obtain SCI and a polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing and mentoring technical teams.

  • Expertise in network troubleshooting and optimization.

  • Familiarity with SDN, network automation, and cloud networking.
