Role Summary
Join our dynamic team in Milton Keynes as a Land Freight Customs Co-ordinator and be part of a high-performing logistics hub. In this critical role, you’ll ensure full compliance with UK and EU customs regulations, manage freight movements, and deliver best-in-class service to our clients. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and strong customer communication are key.
Key Responsibilities

Process accurate customs entries for UK and EU freight

Ensure timely compliance with customs procedures and documentation

Proactively update customers and resolve customs-related queries

Monitor KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs)

Prepare and check import/export declarations

Liaise with internal teams and customs authorities as required

Manage amendments and cancellations in customs entries
-
Report any operational escalations to the Team Leader
Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in freight forwarding and customs procedures
-
Strong understanding of UK import/export regulations
-
Excellent time management, multitasking, and organisational skills
-
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Customer-centric attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Experience working in a fast-paced logistics or transport environment
