Lead Mobile Engineer – Crypto Exchange
Storm2 is partnering with a leading cryptocurrency exchange to hire a Lead Mobile Engineer to drive their mobile development team. With a strong focus on security, precision, and reliability, they are looking for a leader who shares their commitment to quality-first development.
About the Company
Our client is a high-growth digital asset exchange built on the core principles of security, trust, and excellence. Their mission is to develop next-generation crypto custody infrastructure, ensuring the highest standards of reliability, resilience, and regulatory compliance.
As they transition from third-party custody providers to an in-house solution, they need an experienced mobile leader to elevate their app to industry gold standards.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the mobile team, initially managing a team of three engineers and overseeing the hiring of two additional team members.

Continue developing high-quality iOS and Android native applications, ensuring exceptional performance and security.

Act as the CTO’s right-hand person on all mobile-related initiatives, driving growth and innovation in the mobile function.
Requirements

Proven experience leading a mobile development team at a major mobile-first company (e.g., Uber, Deliveroo, Coinbase, CashApp, etc.).

Willingness to be 40%-50% hands-on in the first few months while scaling the team.

Strong technical expertise in building high-quality, secure, and scalable native mobile applications.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean, and remote-first engineering environment.
