Responsibilities
Network Architecture & Engineering (60%)
-
Lead the design and implementation of Cisco LAN/WAN, SD-WAN (ATT VeloCloud), Azure Networking, VOIP, and security protocols.

Build and maintain redundant, secure, and high-performing network topologies across multiple sites.

Troubleshoot complex multi-vendor issues independently.

Implement load balancing, firewall configurations, and network failover systems.

Lead infrastructure efforts for new services and strategic initiatives.
Standards, Process & Documentation (20%)

Develop network performance, security, and disaster recovery standards.

Maintain thorough network architecture documentation, including configurations and change management processes.

Define proactive monitoring processes for continuous improvement.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship (10%)

Provide leadership and mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers.

Serve as an escalation point for complex network issues.

Support the development of skills across the infrastructure team.
Performance Monitoring & Innovation (10%)

Define and report key metrics (KPIs/KRIs) to monitor network health and risks.

Analyze traffic trends for optimization opportunities.

Evaluate new tools and technologies for future growth and innovation.
