About the Role

The Learning & Development Lead will lead a team that builds coaching and training programs to improve performance at scale. You will turn Clipboard’s core values—Empathy, Judgment, Excellence—into measurable behaviors and ensure frontline teams reflect these values in every customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build onboarding, upskilling, and coaching programs to translate values into repeatable behavior

  • Develop agents and managers to deliver service rooted in empathy, curiosity, and critical thinking

  • Operationalize speed, ownership, and feedback into everyday team behavior

  • Design coaching systems that drive real-time improvement and reinforce excellence

  • Build feedback loops to surface gaps, test solutions, and measure impact

  • Raise the bar for performance, not just knowledge

Qualifications & Skills

  • Several years in L&D, enablement, or related fields, with 2+ years managing a team

  • Proven track record of programs that reduce ramp time, improve outcomes, or shift day-to-day performance

  • Strong written communication for decision-making

  • Experience building, leading, and improving systems or programs based on feedback

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments with strong feedback loops

  • Data- and behavior-driven mindset focused on real-world results

Bonus: Experience with customer support or contact center teams
