Netherbrook Primary School is currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant and welcoming team.  What Does a Learning Support Assistant Do?

In this role, you will:

  • Provide individual and group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs in EYFS and KS1.

  • Assist teachers with classroom activities and intervention programmes.

  • Foster a safe, positive learning environment where every child feels valued.

  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO and teaching team to implement tailored support plans.

 Ideal Candidate Profile for a Learning Support Assistant

We’re looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:

  • Has experience working with children in Early Years and Key Stage 1.

  • Understands child development and the EYFS Framework.

  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education.

  • Brings creativity and a positive attitude to the classroom.
