Netherbrook Primary School is currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant and welcoming team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or aspiring Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in our Early Years and KS1 phases. What Does a Learning Support Assistant Do?
In this role, you will:

Provide individual and group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs in EYFS and KS1.

Assist teachers with classroom activities and intervention programmes.

Foster a safe, positive learning environment where every child feels valued.

Work collaboratively with the SENCO and teaching team to implement tailored support plans.
Ideal Candidate Profile for a Learning Support Assistant
We’re looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:

Has experience working with children in Early Years and Key Stage 1.

Understands child development and the EYFS Framework.

Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education.

Brings creativity and a positive attitude to the classroom.
