The Role

We are currently recruiting a Learning Centre Assistant to join our dedicated support team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone enthusiastic and student-focused to make a difference within a vibrant academic environment.

You will play a key role in maintaining a well-ordered, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports the needs of our diverse learner population.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering excellent customer service to staff, students, and visitors

  • Assisting and engaging with learners to maintain a positive and supportive learning space

  • Responding efficiently and professionally to user enquiries

  • Ensuring the Learning Centre is clean, accessible, organised, and suitable for a range of learning styles

  • Supporting the daily operations and administration of the Learning Centre

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic, approachable, and eager to support student learning

  • A team player who can also work independently

  • Empathetic and inclusive, with a positive approach to supporting diverse learners

  • Able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

  • Willing to develop new skills and contribute to the wider college community
