About the Role:
We’re looking for a passionate and organised Library Information Adviser to join the team at Lincoln College on a 0.4 FTE (job-share) basis. This important student-facing role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting learning, fostering independent study, and managing academic resources.
Working every Monday and Tuesday, you will help guide and train students across further and higher education courses, ensuring they can make the most of the college’s library services. You’ll also play a vital part in maintaining up-to-date, relevant academic resources aligned with the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored guidance to students on accessing and using library services and study tools

Deliver training to promote independent learning and digital literacy

Manage and update learning resources aligned with the college and HE curriculum

Contribute to the smooth running of library operations in a collaborative team environment

Support students with varying learning needs in an inclusive manner
What You’ll Need:

Previous experience in a library, education, or student support setting

Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills

A commitment to inclusive education and excellent customer service

The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
