About the Role
Under general supervision, LVNs provide a broad scope of vocational nursing services to support patient health and well-being. This role offers the opportunity to serve diverse communities and contribute meaningfully to public health initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who:

  • Have at least one year of paid LVN experience (strongly preferred)

  • Are flexible and willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • Are physically capable of performing lifting and other essential tasks

  • Can educate and counsel patients on key health topics such as family planning, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), HIV/AIDS, immunizations, and nutrition

  • Can develop and manage work plans and clinic schedules for specialized health services

  • Are bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred and required for some positions)

  • Possess a blood withdrawal certificate and a current CPR certification

Clinic-Specific Skills and Responsibilities
LVNs working in clinic settings must be able to:

  • Plan and deliver health education presentations

  • Offer counseling on preventive care and chronic health conditions

  • Support the planning and coordination of special clinics and outreach services

Licensure & Certification Requirements

  • Must hold a valid California Vocational Nurse license or interim permit

  • Must obtain certifications in phlebotomy, IV therapy, and CPR within six months of hire
