Position Summary: Line Chef

We are currently recruiting a Line Chef (Starter Chef) to join our passionate and friendly kitchen team in Berkhamsted. This is an excellent opportunity to start or grow your culinary career in a supportive, high-quality, and sustainability-focused environment.

No experience? No problem. Full training will be provided, with clear progression opportunities throughout our restaurant group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook fresh, locally sourced ingredients to a high standard

  • Support with food prep and service during busy shifts

  • Clean down stations and maintain food hygiene standards

  • Complete compliance training including Food Safety, Health & Safety, COSHH, and allergens

  • Follow kitchen procedures and contribute to a smooth, organised kitchen environment

What We’re Looking For

A team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Passion for great food, sustainability, and ethical practices
 Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential
 Ability to commute or relocate to Berkhamsted (required)
 English speaking (preferred)
